Delhi - The capital of India, Delhi is an eclectic mix of modern and hip New Delhi and more conservative and cultural Old Delhi. The famous temple complex of Laxmi Narayan, Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb, India Gate, the pride of every Indian heart and a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their motherland and the amazing Parliament House, the hub of all the political activity of India and the shopping complexes of the Connaught Place are the chief attractions of the New Delhi while the largest mosque of Asia, Jama Masjid, the sprawling Red Fort continuing its tradition of wielding power and glory where the wonderful sound-and-light shows in the night are just incomparable, Shanti Vana and Raj Ghat, the memorial sites of our first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru and the the Father of the Nation, Mahatama Gandhi, respectively and the shopping complexes of Chandani Chowk are the highlights of Old Delhi.
